Ever since meeting in middle school, Cath and Luke have been especially drawn to each other. When they started dating at 16, they quickly became best friends -- and it's that best friendship, teamwork, and their faith that made them who they are in their relationship today.
Their wedding day was full of family, friendship, and cool spring, Italian coast vibes. The perfect location for their day, Landmarks Art and Garden Society, is situated right on Richardson Bay and provides amazing views of the water and city. Vibrant colors, citrus hues, and fresh fruit (provided by Muse Floral Co.) complimented the fun, laid back feel of the day. To keep with the Italian coast theme, Catherine and Luke provided their guests with fresh scooped gelato (by Gio Gelati) and a coffee cart (by Tico Coffee Roasters).
Luke donned a suit by Italian designer Canali, and Catherine chose the perfect gown from designer Vagabond Bridal. Her whole look was completed with beauty from the Beautiful Day Bridal Glam Team.
The special touches throughout their day were truly unique! Luke's grandfather passed down his wedding band, which perfectly complimented Catherine's gold wedding band given to her by Luke. They shared a first touch and prayer before the ceremony, and Luke shared a special surprise dance with his grandmother.
Each element of their day was perfectly crafted and thought out, including the baby's breath arch, Catherine's colorful bouquet against the bridesmaids all white bouquets, the bridal party fashion that looked straight out of a glam garden party, fun colored sunglasses for all the guests at a sunset dance party, and the most gorgeous location!
Catherine and Luke spent 7 months partnering to plan their wedding day. Here is what they had to say when they reflected back: "We planned our wedding for 7 months, doing it all side by side. It turned out to be the most fun, wild challenge we've ever embarked on together. Figuring out how to realistically make our vision come to life, while needing to manage problems and expectations, was a wonderful act of teamwork, and our favorite aspect of engagement. We would absolutely recommend that other couples plan together! It's greatly unifying, and allows each person to practice their individual gifts."

"April 30th was the most joyful day of our lives -- getting to see our dreams become a reality and share it with the people we adore most in this world! We're eternally grateful to our family, vendor team, and everyone else who made our wedding day celebrations possible, and we're especially grateful to the Lord for the best friendship we've found in each other."
"Have fun planning with your partner! Try not to overthink the details - this is what your planner or coordinator is for! We think and plan for the logistics as well as help you plan for an amazing day. It's important to have a plan for things, but being engaged is such a special time to be enjoyed.
Also, when planning at a venue that only provides a space for renting (a venue that requires you to bring in all vendors including rentals), make sure you hire a planner that can plan for the unique logistics, as well as be prepared and well organized to handle everything. Above all, have fun, be present, and soak in every moment of your day!" ~ Nicole Taylor Events
