Is Your Home Town As Quaint As This One In the South Of Spain?

A bride and her wedding dress

The 2000 movie Chocalat gave birth to my love, and slight obsession, with the look and feel of the rural towns of Europe. And though that movie took place in France, the quaint tile-roofed white houses of this couples hometown in the South of Spain gave me the exact same feels that movie did. And with this atmosphere in mind, the wedding planners and designers of Si! Quiero by Sira Antequera pulled together the sweetest town square wedding ever! Just wait until you see the reception!

Keep scrolling to find out why I fell so head over heels in love with this beautiful wedding day, and don't forget to stop by the full gallery to see all the wonderful photos provided to us by Javier Berenguer.

A Lovely Location

From Si! Quiero by Sira Antequera: This intimate wedding took place in a small town called Benarrabá, in Ronda, South Spain. A town of white houses and clay tiles, narrow and winding streets, traditions and humble and helpful people.

The decision to choose this location was the fact that the couple met each other in this town during their summer-work and it was the town that saw them grow up. This couple had a very clear idea of the type of wedding the wanted. They wanted to celebrate it in a rural environment, endowed with a certain sophistication while preserving the essence of the environment and enhancing the beauty and simplicity of the town, without excesses or artificial decorations.

All this was achieved thanks to their Wedding Planners & Designers, Si! Quiero by Sira Antequera. Sira simply managed to read their minds and hit everything they wanted, materializing their dreams on a day so perfect that it escaped their best expectations.

The Brides Dress

The bride’s dress was from the Spanish firm, Pronovias, from the Atelier collection and made of silk and crepe. The bride fell in love with her dress at the very first time she saw it, but she personalized it with some details like the front neckline, the length of the train and the number of buttons on the back that she made to match the groom’s age.

The bride’s most sincere advice is the hiring of wedding planner services: “that day is unique and unrepeatable and that is why it should be enjoyed to the maximum by both, the couple and the family. The preparation phase generates a lot of stress and it is very encouraging to have someone to accompany you along the way, give you peace of mind and advice backed by years of experience”.
