This is the story of a 2020 wedding with a very happy ending. The wedding ceremony of Lorenzo and Sara took place in the beautiful Abbey of San Mercuriale in Forlì: a place with a long story. The first church was built in 4th century, and the current edifice was finished in 1180 in Lombard-Romanesque style. In the 13th century it was considered one of the marvels of the Kingdom of Italy.
Sara always dreamed to have a wedding dress in princess style, and fell in love with a precious stylish romantic dress, full of brilliant details and made with high-quality Italian fabric. She entered the Abbey after her maid of honor and ten bridesmaids, just as she had always imagined.
Lorenzo and Sara decided to plan their wedding reception in an antique country house with lifelike stones and wooden beams. Located in the hills of Italy: a stylish venue with a breathtaking view of Tuscany.
The wedding design plays on the contrast between rustic and natural elements, giving the wedding a chic and stylish feel. A mix of dry and fresh flowers show off the color palette of old rose and other warm tones. At the same time, they opted for modern details to complete the design, like the streamline lamps on the tables. The custom seating chart was made with clean arched panels in colors that echoed the wedding's palette.
At the center of the park sat the wedding cake surrounded by matching custom arches, florals, and a neon sign. Lorenzo and Sara opted for a 3-tier wedding cake decorated with dry flowers.
After sunset amber-colored indirect lights gave life to a romantic atmosphere in the wedding dinner area. Nearby, the guests found a sweet surprise: a beautiful table full of small delicious pastries atop a grand mirror: a triumph of colors and beauty elegantly offered to all.
