Intimate Fairytale Wedding at Dover Hall

Happy couple in elegant wedding attire embracing at sunset

This wedding was filled with elegance! From the English Tudor-inspired estate, the custom Galia Lahav dress for the Bride, and stylish bridal party - we can’t get enough of this fairytale wedding. We are completely in love with the bride's getting-ready photos and her fun and care-free yet sophisticated vibe.

Inna Elsie was there to capture all the stunning details. Alana Futcher planned every detail and Casey Neeley created all of the amazing florals. You can keep scrolling see all the images in the full gallery & keep reading to hear from Amanda, the bride, all about her special day!

Our wedding was held on 2.22.2020 at Dover Hall Estate, in a little town just outside of Richmond, Va. We feel so lucky to have had our fairytale wedding just weeks before Covid-19 hit the US.

This was a destination wedding for all who attended, including us. We live in California and wanted to have a European (castle) style wedding which Dover Hall Estate gives off that aesthetic. The entire weekend went off without a hitch. It was magical!

THREE DAY AFFAIR

We had an intimate wedding with just close family and friends which was perfect because we made it a three day affair.

We each had 6 people in our wedding party. I had all of the "somethings": something old: a piece of my moms wedding gown sewn into mine, something new: my gown, something borrowed: we used the same toasting glasses my parents had at their wedding, and something blue: my garter. My husband is a huge car guy so I surprised him at the end of the night with an old Porsche 911.

THE DRESS

One of my personal favorite things about my wedding (besides marrying the love of my life) was my custom Galia Lahav Gown! I worked with their team to create my dream dress.
