About two years ago Susanna our next bride wrote a film. A short while after that, she met with an actor who she eventually cast as the lead male role, his name was Justin. They met at a restaurant and were so smitten with each other that they were too nervous to take their sunglasses off the entire meal. Susanna played the lead role and the two acted as lovers in her film.
Their first kiss was on camera. Their love unfolded through the production and it was easy to see that the two were no longer just acting. Not long after, they were real life husband and wife, and this is their wedding love story. Inspired by true love, Sweden and lots and lots of flowers. Captured perfectly by Between Lenses and Roses and designed Nonpareil Event Planning & Design. You must see all of the details in the full gallery here and read on to here more about this Susanna and Justin's intimate bohemian wedding.
From the bride:There had to be LOTS of flowers! Flowers you could have picked up yourself on a field, in your garden. I wanted everything to be simple and ethereal, just a happy place. I wanted it small and simple, just our closest friends and family. We had a guest list of about 65 people. The most memorable moment was having two of my best childhood friends from Sweden travel from the other side of the earth to be my bridesmaids. Having the two of them and the groom's sister help me get ready just before the ceremony was so fun. We completely forgot about the time.
We are head over heels in love with Susanna's eclectic wedding style. Dressed in one of our favorite Sarah Seven wedding dresses, lace socks and a dainty floral wreath in her hair. Such a stylish bohemian bride.
Susanna is from Sweden and has traveled all over the world, so naturally her wedding was filled with travel inspired details. The escort cards were handmade using stamps of maps placed onto tags and you will see vintage maps and various antique travel inspired details.
The menu was hand drawn by Susanna's mother and the inspiration for the wedding came from Swedish Midsummer and French countryside picnic. The cake was a re-imagination of a traditional Swedish birthday cake, and as you see the entire wedding looks like a grand picnic event.
