We love a good Idaho wedding since Jocey lives there but, we especially adore it when the wedding is filled with good old fashion charm. Taking place at was at the 7N Ranch, a tranquil and peaceful place. A perfect spot for a vintage inspired wedding complete with a renovated barn. Idaho wedding photographer, A Day to Adore Photography captured all Ashley Alipio's pretty wedding details. Read on to hear about Ashley's wedding inspiration and how their wedding came to life.
From Ashley the bride:
Alipio and I met in Hungary with some friends, at the time he was living in the South of Portugal and I was living in Prague, Czech Republic. We met at a prayer meeting for a mission trip to Portugal. He says he knew he was going to marry me the first time he saw me. Our first date was in Portugal and our first kiss was in France. The inspiration for the wedding was all my favorite things. Most of the things that were used were just collections of my favorite lovelies, through travels and thrift store shopping.
The dress was just a simple find, pretty bare when I bought it and then had a friend cut off the top and put new sleeves on and the sash. My hairpiece was a collection of old earrings and broken feathers mod podged together. All of the centerpieces and bridesmaids' dresses were all from thrift stores. My personal advice is to always be collecting little treasures from thrift stores. Our flowers were just from a market and my bridesmaids arranged them themselves. It was simple and last minute!
I think the sweetest thing about it all was how sentimental all of our details were. It was my grandparents 55th wedding anniversary and my great grandparent's 72nd wedding anniversary It is sweet that we were all brides on the same day. My brothers gave the sweetest toasts and all my favorite people that I love the most were all together. The most memorable is when its the most personal.
