Ceremony
The charming town of Piedmont is a throw back to a simpler time. The exquisite homes, lush rolling lawns, manicured gardens, and general sense of community resemble a quaint southern town straight out of the 1950s. The Piedmont Community Hall is centrally located in the small town and is reflective of the values that its community embraces. Here, in the midst of your own Wisteria Lane, you'll find the perfect setting for a flower-drenched fête overflowing with refined detail.
Quietly tucked away in the garden that surrounds the Community Hall is the amphitheater. Your guests will be enchanted as they walk the garden path alongside a babbling brook lined with lush ferns and aromatic flowers. This is I Do Venues' favorite ceremony location. A small collection of soaring Redwoods juxtaposed with one fallen tree is a picture-perfect frame for your wedding ceremony.
The white garden chairs provided by the facility are a good match for a casual celebration; however, this fantastic setting calls for something more. White ballroom chairs with a bright colored cushion sets the stage for a more sophisticated celebration. Chartreuse and fuchsia complement the surrounding Redwoods beautifully. The built-in amphitheater seating is not ideal for ceremony viewing, but when decorated with brightly colored cushions or fabric runners, it is a marvelous place to seat late-comers.
The bride emerges from the top of a stone staircase, with an abundance of evergreens and botanicals at her feet. A heavy layer of exuberant colored rose petals used as an aisle runner creates a soft, elegant balance to the rustic setting.
Reception
Spring and summer at this venue are absolutely breathtaking. The gardens are heavily populated with tulips, azaleas, and other colorful blooms. Every young girl loves to play tea party, and the Piedmont Community Hall is the perfect location to make those childhood dreams come true.
Redefine your basic garden party by incorporating luxurious linen fabrics with sophisticated prints and white washed colors. Consider using the Twitter pattern from La Tavola Linen in robin's egg blue, or their Williamsburg print in celery green. These fabrics will add feminine lines and an air of sophistication when paired with white wood chiavari or chameleon style chairs.
Adorn the tables with full, lush arrangements containing elements from the nearby garden such as hydrangeas, peonies, sweet peas, and ranunculus. Utilize your vase choice as a cohesive design element by assembling a collection of antique silver vases, metal urns, vintage cake plates, or even teapots. These unique design items create visual interest while tying in the garden party feel.
Make the details of your event uniquely yours. Try posting playful handmade signs leading toward the ceremony, reception, and tea house. A monochromatic candy bar selection presented in traditional glass apothecary jars is definitely on trend with a touch of vintage style. Place settings that include menus and delicately folded napkins atop gold chargers will set off your gold rimmed china for a completely elegant look. Diversify your glassware choices by coordinating, but not matching them exactly. This adds to the playfulness of your overall design.
We love to see a color palette of white-washed pinks, Tiffany blues, and soft greens. They all add an overall sense of gracefulness and youthful whimsy to the life of this outdoor venue.

You simply must use the traditional Japanese Tea house! With doors on three sides that slide open to expose the interior, it appears to be floating in the tall trees that surround it.
A champagne or sake bar are right at home, and a welcome toast is the perfect way to begin your celebration. The dark wood and Asian-influenced design of the tea house make it the perfect place to bring in a fusion of Asian-inspired arrangements. White, green, or amber orchids and happy bamboo can be combined to create a unique design.
Donated by a local family in the 1900s, the unique building has its own special history, making it a wonderful place to begin your own!
