The seasons change but the venue remains just as enchanting. California's prestigious Wine Country hosts many of the country's most memorable summer and fall wedding soirees, but many of today's brides are reluctant to consider Wine Country locations for a winter celebration. In actuality, Napa and Sonoma have a mild winter season. Although the temperature drops as it does everywhere, the rainfall in this area is far less in November through February than it is in March through May. So when faced with the option of a downtown ballroom or the romance of a winery, caves, and barrel room, the choice seems obvious.
Paradise Ridge Winery is one of my favorite Sonoma wedding spots, so when I saw they were offering a "winter wedding package," I wanted to share a sneak preview of what they offer:
We now offer Winter Wedding Packages from November to April. From your engagement photos to your wedding night bridal basket, you will enjoy the best of everything for a complete, convenient way to host a memorable wine country wedding. Ideally located minutes from downtown Santa Rosa, Paradise Ridge Winery has versatile space which can easily accommodate up to 120 persons for a grand winter celebration. Its California style architecture perfectly complements the beautiful nature surrounding it. From intimate dinners and meetings, to large receptions, we have taken the time to create a magnificent setting for your special event.
