If you follow I Do Venues, it is no surprise to know that I LOVE CAVALLO POINT, so it was an extra special treat when one of my favorite photographers, Rosemarie Lion, sent over this incredible wedding all wrapped up in a perfect little Golden Gate view. Stunning - the view, it just does not get better than this.
Rosemarie's style is the perfect compliment for this incredible historic wedding venue. Cavallo Point is saturated with history and the lodge has done an incredible job of preserving every inch of it, and the natural setting of the headlands that surround it are breathtaking. Rosemarie loves to tell stories, and helping you create Chapter One of you history together brings her an incredible joy that she transfers onto film brilliantly.
The details of this event are timeless. The tone-on-tone colors of the floral arrangements and the use of so many incredible textures in the design immediately struck me. It was no surprise when I saw that this incredible interpretation of Cavallo Point was done by Sharla Flock Designs. Cavallo Point is all about natural, sustainable, live off the land so to speak, and Sharla's design captures it beautifully. The neutral fabric colors of burlap, soft heather grey, and stone are seen in the room design and in the bridesmaids' ensembles. Sharla has built on these soft natural tones and added a classic silver revere pastoral to bring in some romance - gorgeous!
I Do Venues wants to recognize the talented team of wedding professionals who helped to make this bride's dream a reality: Photographer - Lion Photography; Floral - Sharla Flock Designs; Catering and Dessert - Cavallo Point; Entertainment - Keith Johnson of All Stars; Lara Brown.
