See why this could be the perfect destination for your wedding.
Natalia and Kyle tied the knot on a beautiful Florida day where they were surrounded by their closest friends and family. They said their I do's under the most luscious palms and perfect sunlight at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point. Their day was filled with so much love and laughter, happy tears and good vibes. From beginning to end these two soaked up every moment together and embraced their new beginning as Mr. and Mrs. Rodriguez. I am so blessed to have been chosen to capture such an important moment in their lives and wish them a lifetime of happiness!
There really isn’t that much to it! Lol we met in Miami (on ig 🤣) in June 2014. He asked me to be his girlfriend on 07/14/2014. We lived in Miami together until October 2018, then got out first place together in Gainesville. We lived there for a little over a year, then moved to Jacksonville to be closer to the coast! He’s a firefighter right now, and I work at a doctors office. We have two fur babies and thinking of having some actual babies in the next couple of years!
We were going on a cruise with his family the weekend of 6/14/2019. We drove to Miami on the 13th and we had a few family and friends come over for (what I thought) was just his brothers going away to college party. He proposed to me the night of the 13th in front of all of our family and friends. I knew he was gonna propose soon, but had no idea it was gonna be that day! I was so surprised and even though I knew it was gonna happen soon, I cried so much, it felt so unreal!
My family and I used to live in fort Myers. I had an uncle name Luis who passed away a few years ago. He used to work at that exact hotel. We had so many special memories take place there and that hotel meant so much to me even before we got married there.
When we lived there, we used to go there for the weekend just to see my uncle and spend the day at the pool and beach. We’ve had family reunions, weekend trips with Kyle and I, and so many other special events that happened at the Hyatt regency in coconut point. It was no doubt in our mind that we would get married there!
Yes! We had our welcome bags given out when our guests checked in to the hotel.

A family owned, warmed and friendly coffee shop worth the stop. We stopped by when visiting the resort and were running around town. Great coffee and the peanut butter & honey toast is such a treat. It's a little drive from the resort, but if you're out and about and in the area I highly recommend it.
Coconut Point Mall is just 1.5 miles from the resort with more than 140 stores including the Apple Store and Sephora plus cinemas, restaurants and a children's play area. Scheduled shuttle service from the resort is available.
Raptor Bay is the first Audubon Certified golf course in the USA, with a design that's respectful to the environment. You'll experience the beauty of nature and tournament quality course conditions that give every player an exemplary golfing experience. Located adjacent to the resort, hourly trolley transportation to the clubhouse is provided.
Located in Estero, the Miromar Outlets feature 140 name brand outlets and factory stores.
I got my dress at David’s Bridal. It was the Galina Signature Beaded Bodice A line dress. Kyle wore a navy suit from the Black Tux!
We had both, and on-site coordinator named Kelsey, and an outside planner named Cece. They were both amazing.
Yes!! I did a few unique things. During the ceremony, I had both my stepdad and my dad walk me down the aisle which I loved! And we had a “wish you were here” family tree with photos of all of the people in our family that had passed that we wished we were able to make it.
Our cake was made by the Hyatt! If I’m being honest, I can’t remember that flavor we had chosen. We did have some special desserts made by Dulce Jars. She passed out tres leches cups and some chocolate cake, that everyone definitely enjoyed!!
Being able to do our rehearsal dinner, wedding, and day after brunch at the Hyatt, and having all of our friends and family stay at the same place!
Don’t be scared of doing your reception in one of their ballrooms! I was nervous about it, because I didn’t want that “ballroom” feel, but the Hyatt does an amazing job of making it feel fun and so elegant! And not to mention it’s cool in there compared to being outside in South Florida’s unpredictable weather!
Having all of our family and friends there with us. We were so worried that with covid, a lot of people wouldn’t be able to go. And having La Hora Loca (the crazy hour) during our reception! They really were the life of the party!!!
My biggest tip for anyone getting married is to enjoy EVERY SECOND of the day (the good and the bad), because I know a lot of people say this, but your Wedding day really goes by so fast!
Well, you don't have to imagine the day blindly, because we've got real wedding photos from five events that happened IRL at all of these fabulous venues: Casa Ybel Beach Resort, Hyatt Regency Coconut Point and Spa, Marriott Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa, Pink Shell Beach Resort & Marina, and Lovers Key State Park.
