Intention is nine-tenths of the law… er, wait.. that might not be how that quote goes… but maybe intent should be a larger factor in making your wedding decisions. If you are going to be throwing a big shindig and don't want to overextend yourself perhaps sitting down with your fiance and discussing the reasoning behind all of the things you want at your wedding day might ground your budget. Jyllian and Bryan's fabulous day was filled with intentional choices from the place cards to their brilliant way of spending a little time with every guest.

Janae, a wedding planner from To Have and To Hold Weddings, writes: I was so impressed by the intentionality that Bryan and Jyllian put forth in planning their wedding. As much as their wedding day was a celebration of their marriage, it was this amazing evening to thank everyone who was a part of their lives.
They were married in the church where they serve the high school youth and celebrated at their reception at a private estate in Yorba Linda. From the banquet-style farm tables to the personalized thank you cards at each guest's seat, Bryan and Jyllian made sure that each of their guests knew how thankful they were for them.
Jyllian's bridal style was exquisite: an authentic vintage dress with lace-capped sleeves from Gossamer, accents of brushed gold and pearls, and the perfect ribbon-tied heels from Nine West. Add a fur stole to top it off! The bridesmaids wore Watters Wtoo in brown sugar, but each bridesmaid chose the style they loved most. Bryan and the groomsmen wore steel gray suits, a bold contrast to the neutral colors. JL Photographers captured the depth of Bryan and Jyllian's love and warmth of the day so perfectly.
Layered Vintage's mixture of bright flowers, dried wheat, and pomegranates with the tulle runners and warmly burning candles, you felt like you were a part of the family. Affectionate toasts and peach cobbler to end the night, but not without a surprise dance from Bryan and Jyllian to kick off the dancing!
Take the time to walk around your venue, alone! We spent months working on unique and personal touches and wanted to make sure we would be able to see how everything came together. During dinner, our wedding coordinator arranged a few minutes for us to take everything in. We walked around with our “Georgia Mules” in our hands and examined all of our intentional details. It was such a special moment!
We wanted to make sure everyone felt acknowledged and appreciated at our wedding. We wrote personal thank-you notes to all 160 of our guests that doubled as their place cards. Also, because we had a buffet dinner, we handed each guest his or her plate so that we knew we had spent a few minutes with everyone at our reception. Our advice – be intentional!
