Chandler went to marine corps boot camp with my brother. We met when they graduated but didn’t officially hang out until I spent a weekend in San Diego with my brother and his friends
He proposed at a restaurant with my family on New Years. He used one of those reel viewers, that you look into and click to look through pictures. He had put pictures from throughout our relationship and when I set the viewer down he was on one knee
I’ve always been boho and free-spirited at heart. I’m a very artsy and creative person. I adore flowers and greenery and wanted as much as possible. We chose this venue because when I walked into it for the first time I loved the openness. I knew it was the perfect spot and would fit my theme. It was an old, renovated airport hangar. Such a cool vibe to it.
Almost everything was done by our family which meant a lot to me. My mom and I made and planted the little succulent pots for favors. My two aunts and mom made all the flower arrangements including the bouquets. My best friends grandma made my wedding cakes. I also had records on each table, music is a big part of my life and I wanted to incorporate that in somehow. We also had the groom's cake done for my husband who is in the United States Marine Corps.
