We love beach weddings, of all sizes and traditions! And this next loved filled day warmed our hearts with all the joy that seemed to have been poured into it. Pamela and Brian were married by a Mayan Shaman with their toes in the white sand surrounded by friends and family. You could not ask for a more perfect day!
But the ceremony was only half of this fabulous day! Keeps scrolling to see how this sweet wedding couple did to celebrate their new life together, hint... it includes a very fun looking gin beach bar! There are plenty more details to see in the full gallery as well so don't miss out on any of the photos captured by Where Ally Goes Photography.
It was rainy and cloudy a few days prior to our wedding but on the big day, I woke up to clear skies and the sunlight shining through the curtains. It was finally happening and butterflies and excitement started to grow. We had friends and family flying from different cities, different countries, to be there for us. Loved ones that we haven’t even seen for months and we couldn’t be happier to have them there with us.
As I was finishing getting ready, a few minutes away, our guests gathered around and our Mayan shaman blessed them upon arrival. My sister was flying her drone to see where I was while everyone shook their maracas at the sound of the Mayan musicians playing their drum and flute.
The Mayan ceremony was the most special time for me and Brian. We walked down the aisle, exchanged our vows and ate our favorite fruit from each other hands. Our loved ones made a circle around us, made a wish and came closer to throw petals on us while we kissed. It was a very intimate and magical moment and you could feel the love everywhere.
I wore my dream wedding dress with a flower crown and was barefoot for the entire day. I married my best friend, the joy of my life on a sunny day on our favorite beach, surrounded by our dearest ones. That day was more than I could have dreamed of and I will always be grateful for having all the love and support to make this day the loveliest and happiest day of our lives.
