With a love story that started on the coast, this sweet couple decided that they wanted to incorporate water and the beach into their big day. But how to go about that without making it a full-out beach party? Hints of the beach where sprinkled throughout this gorgeous day and we are in love with the subtle vibe that buts us in the mood for crashing waves and soft sand.

Wells and I met on the water so I knew I wanted to incorporate a water /coastal vibe. I knew I wanted to use the oyster shells for the name cards but I never thought I would end up making our entire wedding oyster-themed, ha. I fell in love with the oyster invitations and the rest sort of followed suit.
I can honestly say April 14th, 2018 was the best day of my life. We had the best vendors and that’s truly what made our entire wedding.
Let me just start by saying their wedding was absolutely gorgeous. It took place on the Hula family farm overlooking the river in Charles City. No detail went unnoticed. They even had a raw oyster bar during happy hour - BEST IDEA EVER.
These two love their pups. They love them so much that they even had them walk down the aisle during the ceremony with the bridesmaids and groomsmen. They were so cute and all of the guests loved it!
Brettany stunned everyone in her form-fitting mermaid gown with a lace overlay on top. She looked gorgeous. So many tears were shed throughout the heartfelt ceremony, but the party really started during the reception.
The reception tent was beautifully decorated with farm tables and shades of blue and gray. Each guest's seat was marked by an oyster shell with their name written in calligraphy. They shared a family style dinner and then danced the night away.
