Remember Jane? She shared with us that she is super excited about her wedding, but hated planning it. Read about that here, however as you see all of her planning paid off. Plus, read about how she dealt with the dreaded PWD, aka post-wedding depression here.
Jane and Cory had one beautiful luxury desert oasis wedding at the Colony 29 Estate in Palm Springs. Their fun theme focused on what was most important to them, and included delicious food, fancy cocktails and lots of fun elements throughout - including a handcrafted escort card display in the shape of a saguaro cactus!
The stylish vibe continued in hues of pink, gold, and muted cream tones throughout their outdoor reception under bistro lighting. But our favorite details include the VW photo bus and horse trailer bar! Trust us, you won’t want to miss this wedding. See all the highlights below from Todd James and catch a closer look in the full gallery.
Jane's unbelievable ivory white and beige silk and goat skin 'Bijoux' boots from Paul Andrew match her dress perfectly.
From Bash Please: Jane and Cory are a Californian match made in heaven. Both growing up in the same beach town, visiting the same pier, but not knowing each other; they met of course, on Tinder. One of the highlights of the ceremony was when two of their friends hilariously acted out their Tinder conversation as a surprise to Cory.
Number one on the Bride’s must-haves was food. Having worked with chefs she wanted every element of food and drink to be the best, whether it was a taco or the entree. Gathering a team of vendors from all over the wedding weekend included: tacos and boozy popsicles, handcrafted cocktails served from tinker tin bars, an elegant dinner under the stars and a cake to die for and of course gently smash in each other's faces.
The design direction was luxury desert inspired with pink, gold and cream tones. Balancing the more traditional approach were fun elements of handcrafted cactus escort card display, roaming gold flamingo flocks, a wishing well with “pennies for your thoughts” and more. Each corner of their desert oasis was hand curated with special moments. The location was none other than the beautiful grounds of the Colony 29 Estate. The couple and friends filled the villas and spent the weekend enjoying the wedding. The wedding ended with a sparkler farewell and hopping into a vintage car driven by a family friend sending them off. If we could do this wedding over and over we would. It was a blast!
