Need a sweet place to say "I do" without spending a fortune? Go for a walk and hit your local parks. Our next couple saved a bundle by exchanging their vows in the very beautiful Heritage Park of Old Town San Diego. They have several fabulous ideas just waiting for you to snap up for your own big day.

You'd be hard-pressed to find a more sweet and romantic couple than Jenny and Charlie. This Bay Area couple is oodles of adorable, and it all culminated in a beautiful daytime affair at the park with all their very faves.
They're foodies, so that meant the food was a smashing delight, they're stylish, so that meant everything was a visual treat, and their people were so full of happy energy, drawn from places all over, so that meant it was a majorly fun party!
We especially loved that they chose the beautiful surroundings of Heritage Park in Old Town San Diego. So many delightful details from the fun umbrellas, to the champagne bottle piñata and corn hole game, donuts for dessert, and their sweet pup in the mix of it all.
If you really want to save money, get married in a city park that allows you to bring in your own beer and wine. By doing this, we were able to stay within our budget without skimping on the food and photography, which were definitely priorities on our list.
Also, instead of a sit-down brunch on the morning after, we opted for a picnic brunch on the beach with breakfast burritos. It was super relaxed and a hit with our guests!
We thankfully had no major disasters on our wedding day, but one of our guests decided to go for a dip in the ocean on the morning after and got stung by a stingray!
Planned Budget: ~$30,000 - $35,000
Actual Budget: $29,950
Number of Guests: 100
