Jackie and Elvis were together for three and a half years, having experienced starting their new life together in the United States. As a couple, they were very sure of their vision for their big day. The venue selected at Sacred Mountain Retreat overlooked the beautiful mountains of Southern California. Elvis's keen eye as a hobby-est photographer could see the beauty of the venue and fully enjoyed the weekend retreat they planned there.
The date was specifically selected to be on the weekend of the Lunar Year so that they had a chance to invite all their friends and family to celebrate with a big party. The couple wanted to share things they loved together with their guests. From the desserts they bought to display and enjoy, to the scarves they provided for guests to use if it was cold on the top of the mountain.
The bride's aesthetics aligned with a neutral color palette so that textures and accents could be seen. The pampas grass aspect of the wedding fit into this theme perfectly. The only guests that didn't have a chance to attend were the couple's family pets, two cats, although the cats were incorporated into their decor, desserts, and gifts so that the two were not forgotten on such a big day.
There were so many elements for this wedding and the couple and guests thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the design and the entertainment offered. It truly was a party as the sun set and stars could be counted in the sky.
