It may be cold outside but this next wedding is warming our hearts at the Olowalu Plantation House in Maui, Hawaii. Dylan and Randi’s gorgeous I dos are filled with chic decor and stunning ocean views throughout. Oh an did we mention the brides jaw-dropping boho gown?? Long lace sleeves are a MUST.
We've saved the best for last, but don't just take our word for it. It’s THAT pretty and thanks for the talented Tamiz Photography you can view this entire day in the full gallery right here (hint hint). So don't be stranger and remember, sharing is always caring. Be sure to save your favorites for later!
From the bride: When I envisioned our special day, I fantasized about gorgeous fresh flowers, the beautiful ocean breeze and a relaxed and romantic vibe to warm the hearts of our guests. Our wedding incorporated a lot of deep berry colored elements to compliment our beautiful Hawaiian backdrop, contrasted with our soft selection of hand-made cocktails at the reception. The aspect that was most important to myself and Dylan, was that the day be as unique as the love that we share and one for all of our guests to remember.
I always knew we would get married in Hawaii as it is relatively halfway between both of our families, which made it convenient. It was just a bonus that we both love Islands and Maui is one of the most beautiful places we have ever been. We had an amazing wedding planner (Lena from Belle Destination Weddings and Events) who gave us a list of recommended venues. I did a lot of research and fell in love with Olowalu Plantation House. It was right next to the beach but yet still had a rustic vibe that we wanted.
Often, planning a wedding can become quite overwhelming and stressful, but my advice is to make sure you enjoy every minute of it, including the planning process! Also, one of the best pieces of advice I was given was to make sure I had a videographer. So if I had to give you one main piece of advice it would be to do it! You’ll be so in love with your special day that you want to relive it over, and over. Having a video that you can always reflect on, is such an amazing way to do this.
