Destination Wedding Advice

From the Bride: I would highly recommend at least making one trip to the destination ahead of time. If we hadn't taken the trip we wouldn't have rested assured knowing that we had physically seen the venue (which pictures didn't do justice), tasted the food, and decided the best places for everyone to stay.

It was a piece of mind that I could recommend places to stay, food, and entertainment for our guests based off of my own visit there

Shoe Stress

I really stressed about my shoes for a couple of weeks also then came to realize that you dont even see the shoes so I finally picked up some $40 flat sandals and called it a day. I was so thankful day of and was so comfortable and never once thought about how uncomfortable I was. I could have danced for the entire day! It was so worth not wearing heels or being uncomfortable.

Buy Local

I had always been drawn to this flower called the Protea and added it to our invitations because the colors were just what I wanted and I loved how unique it was.  My mom's friend who lives in Hawaii had taken us to the farmers market and the flowers were amazing and soooo cheap.

Be Curious

A word of advice, ask questions... ask other brides what they would change or what was something they couldn't live without? I did that with a couple of brides and it was the smartest thing ever.  There is no better advice then from those who have directly gone through it.
