When I first met with Erinn, she described her dream wedding as "traditional with a twist," which was great, because it's our favorite wedding style. The venues, veil and tuxedos provided the traditional, while the one shouldered gowns and pewter and orange color palette provided the twist. The flowers were a dramatic mix of both styles.
Erinn and Matt's guestbook paid homage to the fact that they met in medical school. Guests were asked to write their Rx for a happy marriage on custom prescription pads, then place them in a vintage leather doctor's bag.
The cake was in a room full of tables dressed with pewter linens, so it really popped atop an orange soustache linen, finished with an orange hued floral topper.
In a nod to Matt's love of coffee and sweets, Erinn planned a late night coffee and donut bar. The hand stamped coffee sleeves were one of her many DIY projects that were part of the reception.
The festive evening ended with a dash through a pathway of sparklers, but Erinn and Matt stopped to savor the moment with one last kiss.
Thanks, Erinn and Matt for being such a great couple to work with. We wish you the happiest of anniversaries, and many more to come.
