Catee and David got married on one the most humid days of the summer in Brooklyn, New York. A storm was fast approaching, so everything had to be done quick style. Despite the crazy weather, both the bride and groom look as calm as can be in their photographs, beautifully captured by Lev Kuperman.
There are so many fabulous moments to this wedding, but one of our favorites is their first look. We love that it was on their brownstone steps. Such a classic New York moment. You can see more of this handmade Brooklyn wedding in the full gallery by clicking here.
The storm held out just long enough for Catee and David's ceremony. A small intimate ceremony that incorporated a Chuppa they had purchased in Kenya as well as a steel drum band, to pay homage to David's Trinidadian roots. After the ceremony all the guests headed into the The Green Building for a Brooklyn wedding celebration.
The Green Building is an elegant multi-use space located in the Carroll Gardens neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. Previously a brass foundry, The Green Building has been transformed into a unique raw space featuring original brick walls, soaring exposed beam ceilings with gorgeous chandeliers. A must see for any couple looking to get married in Brooklyn.
