They did the monster mash at this Halloween-themed costume wedding

San Francisco halloween wedding

Susie and Bennett wanted to have a fun Halloween wedding where costumes for guests were mandatory - and their entire guest-list took up the call with great enthusiasm! The bride and groom themselves went full out, having professional hair and makeup done, complete with prosthetics. They spent hours transforming into Frankenstein (or more correctly, Frankenstein's monster) and his bride, which resulted in an amazing effect. With the wedding taking place the weekend before Halloween - and with a full moon rising - the timing could not have been any better.

Susie and Bennett leaned entirely into the Frankenstein + Halloween theme by donning full Hollywood makeup courtesy of Maria Lee Makeup & Hair that turned them into Frankenstein's monster and his bride.

Whimsical floral design

Bright flowers in a variety of types and textures from Angella Floral Design brought a sense of lightness and whimsy to the event that was otherwise set against a darker backdrop.

A very "un-serious" ceremony

The couple's campy, theatrical, and "very un-serious" ceremony had everyone laughing to tears. The couple was wed by the devil himself and featured wacky sound effects, strategic fog machines, and being electrocuted together right after their skull ring exchange.

Pet cemetery portraits

When the couple and their photographer stepped out for portraits in San Francisco's Presidio, onlookers stopped to gawk, applaud, and shout out compliments to the impressively transformed couple. Wanting to stay on theme, the couple took their portraits at the Presidio Pet Cemetery, as well as other spooky looking spots.
