Brittney and Jackson's wedding was oh so sweet and romantic. The design was whimsical and the styling by Chancey Charm was an absolute dream! But, what made this wedding so incredible was the love this couple had for each other. They absolutely adore each other, and this celebration was just the beginning of a beautiful marriage.
This gray and pink twinkle lights wedding is full of plenty of pretties so don't miss out on any details! See more in the full gallery here, photographed by Harwell Photography.
From Sarah Chancey, founder and creative mentor behind Chancey Charm: We had the pleasure of working with Brittney and her mom, Krystin, while planning this wedding and they were a delight. Their requests were simple - they wanted to create a day that their guests and family would cherish. The bride was able to get ready at her parents' home with her best friends, travel a short distance to the church and then the reception space. Everything being in such close proximity to where our bride grew up made for a truly nostalgic day.
The ceremony was held in a gorgeous chapel only a few minutes away, and the mood was sacred and inspiring. Happy tears filled the eyes of every person that attended their ceremony. It was a beautiful union. We utilized lush floral arrangements and numerous candles to highlight the natural beauty of the stained glass window, which spanned the back wall of the chapel.
For the reception, they wanted to transform their treasured clubhouse (which Brittney grew up spending summers at) ballroom into a space never before imagined, and this vendor team certainly delivered. We draped the ceiling and added the most magical twinkle lights at the bride's request. It really made the space feel intimate and luxurious. We also brought in a stunning focal point, with an estate table stretching half the length of the reception space and displaying a suspended row of florals and votives overhead. Talk about a wow factor!
From the Bride: My wedding day was pretty much exactly how I wanted and pictured it was going to be! I don't have too many complaints at all, I owe it all to my wonderful set of wedding planners and my parents. They really had everything under control. My photographer was wonderful and I was very pleased with the pictures I got. However, because we only had one shooter, I feel like we missed out on a lot of other good photo opportunities that a second shooter could have captured when the other one was busy shooting elsewhere.
I also wish I had chosen to put my hair all the way up. I know this is a personal preference thing and depends on the dress as well but with the rain and humidity and heat, my curls came completely out and having my hair down was just hot. It probably would have stayed looking better for longer had it been up. Another piece of advice to future brides would be to really enjoy your day and cherish every moment.
