Austin and Ansley's architecture and design backgrounds came in handy when they started planning their nuptials at the lovely Summerour Studio in Atlanta. With the perfect venue booked, their vision of an industrial rustic wedding with neutral colors of gray and gold began to fall into place beautifully.

From the bride: We wanted to create an aesthetic that would stand the test of time and blend seamlessly with the industrial-rustic style of our venue. We went with neutral colors, using steel gray as our main accent with touches of gold and lots of natural textures. Some of our decor elements on the rustic farm tables included burlap table runners, vintage glass bottles, succulents, moss, and candles.
I knew that we would have to DIY some of the design elements ourselves. I wanted rustic wood cuts for the place card holders so my dad cut up tree branches from the back yard. I also had an idea of what I wanted for the table numbers so I had my handy husband-to-be cut and stain the wood...I painted on the table numbers and hand-wrote all of the chalk signs and place cards.
We fell in love with Summerour Studio at first site with it's vine covered courtyard, stylish foyer and incredible venue space featuring rustic wood floors, exposed beams and a glorious wall of steel windows with views of the city. It was the perfect compliment to our personal style and we couldn't be happier with the way that our wedding decor fit in to the space!
