Graceful Garden Wedding At Shady Canyon Golf Club

Bride and groom share a kiss holding a wedding anchor on the green grass

This enchanting wedding took place at Shady Canyon Golf Club, the perfect venue for any garden themed wedding. The gorgeous pastel floral arrangements, darling decor and magnificent entrance arch will make you fall in love!  Just like our next couple did!
To ensure that their day unfolded without a hitch, Brooke Keegan flawlessly coordinated every aspect of this wedding. To see more of this wedding, captured by Cameron Ingalls Photography, view the entire gallery here.

From the Bride:As Gavin and I relive our wedding day, we think of the magic and tangible love that surrounded our most memorable of days. Our wedding day is etched into not only our memories, but those of our friends and family as well. Every single detail and event from the moment we woke up and got ready with those closest to us, to walking down the aisle and saying our vows becoming husband and wife, to dancing the night away with our favorite people in the world, was absolutely flawless!

We wanted our cocktail hour to be more of a Napa Valley type atmosphere where the guests were the main attraction. There they enjoyed the beautiful Shady Canyon veranda and sipped on the signature cocktails we concocted while meeting and greeting each other. One of the most important things to Gavin and I was the transition from the cocktail hour to the reception area. To accomplish this elegantly and beautifully, we consulted Karla Flores to bring the idea of a floral archway to life.

The arch was one of our favorite parts of the entire day. This archway transported guests from wine country to our very own garden-themed dinner reception where Karla had also put together stunningly gorgeous tables arranged with a loose and airy designation of garden roses, ranunculus, and dahlias.

To accentuate the flower arrangements that our insanely-amazing florist put together, I did a lot of do-it-yourself projects that helped to save money and to give our wedding a little more of my personality (I love doing these anyways). A wedding budget does not need to mean, that the "more you want the more you spend." Its all about giving and taking --- you spend a little more on the things that matter most to you, and get creative and thoughtful on the things that come afterwards.

Our reception allowed for guests to spend the night eating great food, drinking great wine, and dancing to oldies but goodies underneath the stars and cafe lighting, all while keeping the garden theme in tact.
