What makes this perfect wedding? According to Jessica, all of the imperfections gave her wedding personality. She still laughs about the small things like the acorn that hit her in the head as she walked down the aisle and her husband knocking the mic over just before the ceremony. But honestly this wedding was perfection, with its gold and bronze color pallet and shabby chic glamor of Boone Hall Plantation.

From the Bride:I started our wedding day with a yoga session on the beach with 15 of my closest friends so I was incredibly relaxed and at ease all day. Our weather was beautiful, which was amazing but I think even if it had rained, I still wouldn't have wanted to change that.
It was really important to me to not cut corners on the things that were really essential, like the photographer, who was phenomenal, and my day of wedding coordinator who was incredibly on top of things. She was necessary! I also really splurged on my Jenny Packham dress, but that was 100% worth it. It was as if that dress was made for me.
The thing I loved about our wedding is that the imperfections were so us. An acorn hit me on the head right before I walked down the aisle so my dad and I got to have such a beautiful moment of laughter together before he took me on the most important walk of my life. Hazard of getting married outdoors, I suppose. AC even knocked the mic right off the stand before we started the ceremony which made everyone laugh and relax. It wouldn't have been our wedding had little things like that not happened.
AC and I chose our close friend Leslie to officiate our wedding, which was absolutely amazing and as personal as it gets. From our reading from the children's book, I Like You, to writing our own vows (which were a pinky promise), and AC referencing Dumb and Dumber during the ceremony...Everything about our day was perfect, personal, and worth every penny and ounce of effort that we put into making our day what it was.
We decided to skip the guestbook and programs, which no one even noticed, and purchased our simple invitations and RSVP cards from Minted. I loved that they customized them for us.
Two of my best friends joined AC and I one day last summer to paint the 160 wine bottles we had collected in the last year. We painted them varying shades of gold, silver, and bronze to use as centerpieces and they turned out exactly how I was hoping they would.
One thing I would have changed, would have been taking more time to sit down with AC to enjoy the food. It is so difficult to make yourself sit down and savor the delicious food you've hand picked for the event, so I do wish I would have taken more time for that.
