Adam and Elizabeth Anne's love story began in high school, where the pair bonded over their shared psychology and TV production classes. Fast forward to Elizabeth Anne's Masters degree completion at Georgetown, where Adam decided to surprise her by proposing at Mount Vernon in Virginia. The backdrop of Washington Mansion was perfect for Elizabeth since she is a history teacher!
The couple wanted to have a classic, summer outdoor vibe with a New England coastal touch. With help from planner Erin Duncan, they designed a celebration inspired by traditional outdoor weddings and summery hues. "Something blue" was a colorful theme throughout their garden party reception, down to their luxurious floral wedding cake!

We love the bridesmaid dresses the girls wore from Bella Bridesmaids! The groom and groomsmen wore classic tuxedos, from Walker Brothers.
Rose of Sharon Floral Design Studio designed all the floral pieces that wove the wedding design together! The bridal bouquet was a hand-tied bouquet of all white hydrangeas, peonies, and gardenias with foliage accents. The low, lush white blooms beautifully draping around silver candelabras and large urns, and boxwood wreaths on the chapel entrance added a touch of elegance to the ceremony.
