Looking for a cost effective way to throw you special day? Why not look into a brunch wedding like Meaghan and Zan?! it saved them money and kept the whole even casual and carefree. From their goofy wedding party to the coffee hour and breakfast bar, there is tons to love at this garden wedding with a preppy vibe.
This fabulous day was coordinated by the brides company, Moana Events, and beautifully captured by Schyne Photography. You can see more of everything when you visit the full gallery here.
We love Meaghan's wedding bouquet it is filled with peach garden roses, whiten garden roses, ranuculus, seeded eucalyptus and craspedia.
From Moana Events: Meaghan, the bride, also happens to be our Director of Events for Moana Events. As much fun as she has planning the gorgeous and often elaborate weddings of our beautiful clients, she is very much a self-professed “simple girl”. All her and Zan wanted for their special day was to be surrounded by the people they love most, with a few of their favorite things sprinkled in!
Zan's family history in Hawaii goes back 5 generations, when his ancestors travelled to the islands as missionaries in the 19th century. They lived in the houses which have now been converted into a historical landmark and museum. It was the perfect venue for their dream "backyard" wedding.
They decided on a brunch wedding, not only because it was budget friendly, it also just fit their "style". Guests sipped mimosas while playing lawn games. There was a coffee bar with all of the necessary "trimmings" (the couple are HUGE coffee lovers).
The menu consisted of a variety of their favorite breakfast treats including mini pancakes and sugar glazed bacon. And they thanked their guests with a doughnut bar.
