When something is just so effortlessly beautiful it stops you in your tracks and the rest of the world seems to just fall away. This is the exact feeling we had when we saw Portia and Charles glamorous garden wedding in California. Every little bit of this sun-soaked wedding day seemed so perfectly placed and laid back, it was practically a scene right out of a movie!
We highly recommend taking a closer look at all the fabulous details from this wedding at Rancho Valencia Resort and Spa. You can see every last photo taken by Natalie Bray in the full gallery.
On a beautiful summer day, Portia and Charles wed at the elite Rancho Valencia Resort and Spa in Rancho Santa Fe, CA. The colors of blue, pink, and green popped against the stunning scenery. Planned and designed impeccably by Francine Ribeau Events the day could not have gone better.
Portia looked gorgeous in her Watters gown and Jimmy Choo heels. She glowed from her makeup by Beauty by Stacey. Her bridesmaids wore Jenny Yoo in a beautiful shade of blue that I am still swooning over. I loved that they were all a little different with the famous Jenny Yoo design. Charles in a classic tux looked like a perfect gentleman.
The ceremony was decorated with one of a kind white ceramics filled with beautiful cascading flowers from Blooms by Breesa Lee. Planning their ceremony around the best light of the day was such a smart decision and made their couples photos really special.
Family and friends dined under the stars with lovely farmhouse tables from Adore Folklore. Just the perfect place settings with slight pops of pink and yellow to add some shine. It was an absolutely wonderful day and everyone had the best time dancing the night away to the live band.
They had a delicious dessert station with 4 cakes and a bunch of yummy delights for their guests to enjoy after dinner. It was a night to remember!
Our wedding day flew by so fast that we felt like we didn't get a chance to talk to everyone that came to our wedding! I would recommend having a separate event the weekend of your wedding - either arrival drinks the night before or morning-after brunch with your guests just so you can chat with them. Otherwise, it'll be a fast, but happy blur!
One of my dad's friends was older and drank too much that he passed out! Thankfully we called the ambulance and he was totally okay. I'm not sure how we could have prevented it but be prepared to know that anything can happen and to have a wedding planner who you absolutely trust and can rely on! Ours was Francine Ribeau Events and she was absolutely amazing!
