Not only did this fun loving backyard wedding have an adorable wedding date, 7-11, but it casual charm also captured our hearts.
From the DIY flower arrangements to the elegant donut bar, to the late night Slurpee's. We cannot get enough of Becky and Ryan's big day! Captured by Brandi Welles Photographer, you can see more of this laid back day by visiting the full gallery here.
From Brandi Welles Photographer: Becky and Ryan wanted a casual day that was full of family, friends, and personality but still with lots of rustic charm. Their wedding reception was held at Becky's parents home in Orange County and her and her mom handmade most of the DIY details themselves. They wanted their special day to have rustic touches to match their ceremony venue at Oak Canyon Nature Center so they used a color pallete that was clean, airy, and natural.
Because they got married on July 11th, they also incorporated some fun 7-11 details such as slurpees as a late night treat. The couple chose a donut bar instead of cake because they are both big time donuts fans and their bar was stocked with San Diego craft beers since that's where they met and currently live.
From The Bride:I wish I would have had an hour longer of dancing and more slurpees because they were such a hit!! Do what you want and don't worry about what other people say, I know it sounds cliche but it's true and it goes by so quick! Don't sweat the small stuff because at the end of the day you are married and that's the best part
Instead of a traditional wedding cake, we adore the idea of a tall tray of deep fried deliciousness. They are a tasty treat, everyone loves them and they are considerably lower-cost in cost than a traditional wedding cake. You can get externally creative on how you opt to display them, matching even the fanciest wedding themes. Click here to see a bunch of donut bar ideas.
