On Celebrating Their Different Cultures:For our wedding, Anthony and I wanted to celebrate with those we cared about most by sharing our story with them and our cultural backgrounds. Anthony and I lived in Mexico and have had exposure to so many other cultures through all our travels overseas. To share our cultural backgrounds, we did a traditional Korean bow during our ceremony towards my parents and also wore the traditional Korean outfits during our reception. We wanted to reflect our love for the Mexican culture also so Anthony’s mother wore a traditional Mexican dress, and we did our first dance to a Spanish song titled “Una en Un Millon” by Jesse and Joy.

From The Bride:As far as the yellow and grey color scheme, I've always loved this color combo, so I figured...why not! I did make a lot of things myself (farewell streamers, crayons, bouquets, boutonnieres, photo booth props, etc), but I loved everything about our wedding and wouldn't change a thing.

For our centerpieces for the tables, we used suitcases because of our love to travel and explore new places. Our amazing vintage rental vendor did a wonderful job arranging all the centerpieces and beautiful vintage decor r for our ceremony! We also had a kid's table that had activity books, paints, heart shaped crayons, and colored pencils to help reflect the playfulness we have in our relationship.

Throughout our relationship, we've always been playful, fun, and adventurous in everything we've done. To incorporate that side of our relationship, we created our own photo booth with a cloth backdrop and plenty of props for the guests to use. The guests were to take a polaroid picture, then write a message, and hang it up on the twine with a clothespin for all to see.
