Amanda and Jon's wedding was a mix of Amanda's Southern Charleston roots and Jon's English heritage with a dash of vintage glam. The day was elegant and charming but also a ton of fun! Let's just say there were puppies and panda masks and so many things in between that brought smiles from start to finish.

Amanda wore a gorgeous beaded gown that paired nicely with her pink Badgley Mischka shoes. Her bridesmaids all wore long dresses in different shades of pink and her sisters (the maid and matron of honor) wore sparkly dresses. Jon and his groomsmen wore traditional English tuxedos.
Amanda and Jon met in New York City when he was “fresh off the boat”, which is where they both call home today. The reception tables were each named after major New York City landmark. During cocktail hour they had a Brit Bar full of tea sandwiches, scones, and tea from the Charleston Tea Plantation.
The reception was a blast too. The best mans speech included a song that they all recorded in Nashville the week before for Jon's stag party, the brides sisters roasted the couple and crowned them King and Queen, the dance floor was never empty, the groom jumped on stage to sing New York New York, some Panda Bear masks were involved (the brides nickname is P Bear), and while waiting for the sparklers to be lit all of the guests broke out into Rule Britannia and other British songs.
I honestly feel like my day went as I had hoped, but one thing I would have done differently is have the reception go an hour longer. We had a sit down dinner with four speeches (as it's British tradition to have all speeches at the reception:)), and it took away from getting the 4 full hours of our amazing band!
