Its a nice day for a white wedding. We completely agree with you Billy Idol, and Ben and Brittany’s fresh white and classic wedding was more then just a nice day; we would go so far as to call it an exceptional day!
With an adorable invitation suite that inspired the rest of the event, we cannot wait to share this wedding day with you! Beautifully photographed by Cassi Claire Photography, we highly recommend taking a peek at this full gallery. Bonus, budget breakdown below!
From the Bride: Ben and I built our wedding website and tried to keep the DIY theme going from there. Our friend Hitomi drew these incredible cartoon-versions of our love story, and I used that as the program and included the image on the welcome bags. You can see their full website by clicking here!
From the Bride: I fell in love with the Jenny Yoo Anabelle dresses because 1) everyone looked beautiful in them and 2) the options to mix and match so many gorgeous soft colors with the tulle seemed like a dream.
Ben did a great job picking out the men’s light gray wool suits; it added a subtle fall-y touch to the whole event.
My parents actually found the venue, The Ashford Estate, and we just saw a few pictures of it and said “yes!”. I was completely in love with the barn chapel and the fact that the whole event was in one spot all day. I also loved that it was such a beautiful blank canvas – I knew there would opportunities to add a creative touch (I’m a big DIYer) but also parts that were so beautiful already and didn’t need a lot extra.
After the recessional Ben and I walked down an aisle of all of our guests tossing pieces of lavender at us. While it smelled amazing and the pictures from that moment were absolutely gorgeous, the lavender pieces took forever to get out of my hair and off my dress, and I had to actually take my dress off because they were so itchy.
It wasn't a huge deal (pretty much the perfect day ever!) but it did have my sister and I spending a good 30 minutes trying to clean up, so I wish I could've spent that time talking to my friends and family.
Cassi Claire Photography is a husband and wife team that love offering a very personal wedding experience. They treasure quality over quantity for each of their couples, which means they accept a limited number of commissions each year.
We can't argue with their process because these beautiful photos definitely do not lie! Beautiful work for a truly spectacular day.
Overall, the day was unforgettable and I look back on it with a warm smile. The speeches were all hilarious and heartfelt, the band was so talented and the food was delicious. It was the happiest day, mostly because I got to marry my closest friend!
