French garden party-inspired wedding in minneapolis
Peach and white florals mixed with beautiful blues against a toile backdrop to bring a little bit of France to Minneapolis in this garden-inspired wedding. And Jenna Culley Events made sure to incorporate the theme into every little detail from the vines wrapped around the chandeliers and the floral embroidery all over the bride's gown to the beautiful toile table linens. Even the wallpaper in the bridal suite was on point! Coincidence? We think not! Samantha and Alex both work at the University of Nebraska - GO HUSKERS! - where their love story began and blossomed. Samantha and Alex decided to have a summer wedding celebration to fit easily into their work schedules and set their date for Friday, August 3, 2023, at The Renaissance Hotel - The Depot in Minneapolis. Samantha's dream was to create a French Garden Party filled with beautiful flowers and natural linens.
getting ready
In the floral-clad bridal suite, Samantha lounged with her mom and her bridesmaids as they leisurely got ready for the big day. She started in a floor-length embroidered tulle robe that hinted at the stunning dress that was yet to come. After her hair and makeup was finished, she slipped into the most stunning strapless corseted wedding gown, covered from head-to-toe in 3-D floral embroidery. Alex prepared with his groomsmen as they donned their classic black tuxedos.

The ceremony took place in The Conservatory complete with the aisle lined in flowers along with a gorgeous floral arch by La Petite Fleur that framed the couple perfectly as they recited their vows to each other.

Guests enjoyed cocktail hour out on the patio where they played yard games, enjoyed refreshing drinks, and were serenaded by background music. After cocktail hour, guests then moved to The Great Northern ballroom which was decorated with a gorgeous overhead installation over their head table, beautiful statement flowers, and floral linens that pulled their garden theme together perfectly. Guests danced the night away under the lights with their closest friends and family. It was truly a perfect day for Samantha and Alex.
