If you've been coming here long enough, you know that we're suckers for a good floral installation, but we've never had it broken down like this before. This styled shoot was created to immerse the couple and their guests in a fantasy world. So, instead of a floral "installation", they thought of it more as a floral immersion, and we can't get enough of that idea! From the three-dimensional ceremony backdrop instead of the traditional arch to the floral alcove they created for the sweetheart table, the couple was truly part of the vignette instead of merely standing in front of it–deep, we know.
Campfire Events and YJL Events worked together to make this dream a reality and we love the results! And, of course, it wouldn't have been complete without the majestic floral immersions created by the talented artists of Three Petals Design . Grand Gimeno was the perfect space to set up this dreamscape because it has great bones and only adds to the overall vibe. Love Light Imagery took these stunning photos that are so much more than portraits, each one is its own composition. Keep reading to hear all about this unique concept and how the team came up with this timeless design.
Stepping into the new luxury Grand Gimeno , you're immediately transported to a destination surrounded by thoughtful architecture, a flood of natural light, and European details like massive imported olive trees and Spanish tiles. Immediately taking you from the bustle of city life to a slow-paced afternoon to enjoy, as the Italians say, "il dolce far niente"-the sweetness of being idle and present.
The goal of this styled shoot was to provide a sense of immersion for our couple where they could be enveloped in their florals rather than adorned next to their decor. Our installations created by Three Petals Design draw the eyes up, around, and through the space encouraging exploration through the playful textures and bold unexpected colors including our pops of something blue. Constructed to feel organic from the ground up, the altar and sweetheart table florals bring a lush display of playfulness, and our guest tables tickle the line between the organic nature of our arrangements juxtaposed against our highlight of bold black chairs and structured marble table.
1. Create an oasis of florals for your sweetheart table so you and your fiance can have some alone time.
2. Use part of the venue as your overall design. We definitely used the blue color to tie everything together for the design.
3. Make things modern! We brought in some contrasty chairs to really set the design apart.
