With the average bridal party consisting of around nine people, this next wedding is the perfect example of what a HUGE bridal party would be like. Both the bride and groom had eleven of their closest people stand by their side for their big day, making their total bridal party count twenty-two strong!
With so much love and support going around, this couple wanted to throw a celebration like no other! They chose the beautiful Saratoga National Golf Course in New York to host their gorgeous celebration with pops of dusty rose in bridesmaid dresses and the gorgeous florals. Danni LaRaia Photography was by their side the entire day capturing all the love and magic as it unfolded, and we’re so excited to share these gorgeous photos with you below and in the full gallery. Enjoy!
From the bride: I would have to say the fact that I had all 11 of my absolute best friends in one place with me was so special. Getting ready with them, taking photos with them, all of it was really special and the fact that they all were so great to me on the day-of was heartwarming. They really made the day so much more fun for me, because I was pretty nervous all morning!
Finding my wedding dress was proving to be pretty hard, I went a couple of times with my parents and 2 bridesmaids, then with my mom and my aunt and cousins, and we weren’t finding anything that my mom and I both loved together. I wanted a dress that was a simple white wedding dress, and my mom wanted “bling”.
We then decided to take an impromptu trip back to Lily's bridal during the week after work. I told the girl there I was willing to try anything at that point. She pulled a plain white dress and asked me how I felt about bows, I said sure why not I’ll try it. It had everything I wanted in a dress, long train, buttons down the back, plain white, and an AWESOME bow. I loved it and was holding my breath on how my mom would feel. I walked out to show her, and she LOVED IT! I didn’t even have to say anything first. And we decided that it was the one!
Saratoga National is so amazingly elegant and sophisticated. Their ENTIRE space is what sold me, not just the reception room. The drive up to the clubhouse is an experience in itself, and the patio space and outdoor bar are so beautifully done, the gardens are gorgeous. The staircase and all the natural light in the windows upstairs in the reception room make it so bright and welcoming. I love the small details in the space, like the windows, the wood trim, things like that. It just really felt super right and Paul really loved it just as much as I did. Also, the people that work there are amazing at their job, they have this down to a science I literally didn’t have to worry about a single thing.
My advice would be to enjoy every moment of it! I look back and think about how much fun my wedding was and the planning process was super easy too. But don’t wait until the week of the wedding to do your table number cards, like I did, haha.
We partnered with Danni LaRaia Photography to share this gorgeous wedding with you. As always, thank you for supporting our sponsors!
