Megan and Bryan's early October wedding is everything we love about warm early Fall weddings! With the temperatures still feeling like summer but all the quaint rustic chic details that Autumn brings to your big day! Bridesmaids looked stunning in emerald green wrap dresses and Megan truly rocked her simple and sweet wedding dress. Trust us when we say you are going to really want to see more of this adorable couple
This falling in love with late Summer wedding was perfectly captured by A.J. Dunlap Photography. You can find these and so many more photos in the full gallery. We recommend checking it out for the simple reason that there are oodles more details of those fabulously mismatched reception tables!
From A.J. Dunlap Photography: This gorgeous al fresco wedding is the perfect mix of romantic, intimate and rustic. The couple chose to host their ceremony and reception on the lawn of their venue, using mix matched vintage pieces and only locally grown seasonal florals. They did have a fall wedding, but kept their colors so timeless that only the Oct 1st date would give you any clue it was fall.
From the Bride: My wedding dress was from David's Bridal - nothing fancy but it definitely was the perfect dress for me! The bridesmaids dresses are from Lulu's. I wanted something everyone could afford and even wear again. Green is my favorite color and the dresses were gorgeous.
From A.J. Dunlap Photography: The vintage sweetheart table display by far stole the show! With antique lace, colorful china and a love seat that usually resides in the bride's grandparents' home...all matching their forest green and burgundy color palette. Another favorite detail was the antique mail sorter that the groom refinished for the wedding guests to leave pieces of advice in for the couple to open throughout the years.
From the Bride: The best advice we received on the day of the wedding was to take a moment, just the two of us, during the reception to look out at all of our friends and family and realize that they were all there to celebrate us.
I'm not sure of our exact budget on the wedding since there are so many little things paid for on the way. We spent the biggest portion of our budget on food, photography, the venue and flowers. All of that cost us about $13,000. I saved a lot of money on decorations by using flowers EVERYWHERE. The rest of the budget (around $3,000) was used for rentals, the DJ, and the wedding coordinator.
