In an ancient stone venue, draped in silk and candlelight, this couple tied the knot in Lebanon close to family and friends. The bride traded her lab coat for a stunning Elie Saab mermaid gown and looked every bit the part of a princess on her big day, tiara and all. The groom kept it classic with a double-breasted suit and a black bowtie. Under a canopy of trees, dripping with twinkle lights, the two dined with their nearest and dearest and cherished being close to them after having to be so long apart.
Grand Sofar Hotel is a remarkable historic venue that is perfect for any fairytale wedding! Their photographer, Vartan Seraydarian, made a point to utilize every minute they had in the space and took plenty of individual and couple's portraits. These are memories that they will look back on for a lifetime and pass down for generations. Check out the full gallery to see even more from this gorgeous wedding. The wedding was a dream that passed quickly and amazingly on August 29, 2021. I, Sylvana Hassanieh, am a cancer scientist at the University of Oxford, England and my partner, Osama Zahr, is a business executive at Betway Group, London. Our wedding was in a historic ancient venue called Grand Sofar Hotel in Lebanon where we are from originally. The day started with glam time by the talented Bassam Fattouh as the makeup artist and Yehiaandzakaria as the hairdresser. My dreamy dress was from Elie Saab in a mermaid lace style. We had our first look, then a photoshoot in the royal historic venue followed by a reception decorated by The Planner by Mass Weddings and catered by Silver Spoon Catering. We were surrounded by family and friends, I am so thankful and blessed.
