Prepare to be WOWED by this next wedding at the magical Hartley Botanica garden in California! The bride envisioned pastel colors, gorgeous florals and moss covered decor, and she got all that and more from the talented folks at Down Emery Lane and it turned out absolutely picture perfect.
From the 12 ft moss covered dessert table, to the incredible tree lined ceremony area, Kristen Booth Photography did an amazing job capturing every last detail of this garden wedding, and you can see it all for yourself in the full gallery here.
From Down Emery Lane: When we first met with the Bride she presented a Pinterest board full of different ideas but she just couldn’t see the bigger picture of how to bring it all together. Two hours later, and a lot of giggles and coffee, and we knew exactly what we wanted for this special day. Rebecca knew she wanted an array of pastel colors, wanted things light, whimsical and enchanted feeling and finally, there had to be daisy flowers everywhere in honor of her sweet sister whom had passed away. Rebecca gave us full creative freedom to bring the wonderful grounds of Hartley Botanica to life in a fairytale fashion.
The magic that was created on this day truly shows in these photos. There was also this subtle breeze throughout the day.... I told the Bride after the wedding that I knew that breeze in the air was her sweet sister Bobbi stopping by to let us know she was there in spirit. While Bobbi's seat may have been empty, she was ever present in the hearts of those who loved her that day. Kristen Booth Photography was true to her tagline, and created a fairytale display of love on this most magnificent day.
The flowers ranged from peach garden roses, lavender hydrangeas, daisies, thistles and even feathers. Each bouquet was a stunning presentation of colors. Down Emery Lane created all of the printables for the event to include the moss covered table signs, the escort cards & frame, the dessert bar labels and anything else you may see. The escort card display was so beautiful! It featured two frames lined with twine and escort cards with the soft and romantic flowers on each card. The added flowers to frame was visually stunning.
The tables had gorgeous lace runners and each table “number” was a different cake flavor to celebrate the bride’s love of all things cake. The tables were adorned with candles, trees, feathers and a waterfall display of flowers spilling onto the tables. The grand finale of the set up with the 12 foot dessert bar. All of the desserts were created by the Bride, including the gorgeous cake! The dessert bar was covered in moss, featured custom signs by Down Emery Lane and the cake by Singer Sister Sweets was decorated by Down Emery Lane.
From the bride: Bring an extra pair of dancing shoes for the fun to follow the ceremony. Of course we all fawn over those gorgeous jewel-encrusted ankle breakers that we just HAVE to have on our special day, but when it comes to dancing, just remember, tulle lining and crystal covered pumps do not go hand in hand.
