Sara and Will’s wedding was an elegant English country garden wedding with a beautiful foliage. Pastel flowers hung from the roof of the marquee. Sara wore a stunning custom lace Vera Wang gown and also a second traditional couture evening dress by Deena Rahman.
Nkima Photography was there to capture all the beautiful details, Baxter and Ted to film, and Charlotte Elise Dodd planned every detail. Emma Soulsby created the utterly amazing hanging installation so be sure to keep scrolling. You can see all the images in the full gallery.
Weston park is the dreamiest venue tucked away in the English countryside. The 17th Century historical house was an art piece for the bride and her family to get ready at. As soon as I stepped into the bridal suite, the bride's sister came up to me saying how much she knows I love shoes and
handed me the prettiest red Manolo Blahnik heels to photograph. The sister's red Manolo's are below.
I met Will three years ago in Ibiza, where everyone meets their future husband! He told me he loved me the second day he met me and never stopped telling me. I flew back to New York and he flew back to London but we couldn’t stay away from each other. I worked remotely and didn’t go for longer then two weeks without seeing him. He is the kindest, most loving, tall human I’ve ever met. I always wanted to marry someone exactly like my amazing father - I have achieved that goal.
Sara and Will’s wedding was the epitome of an elegant English country garden wedding. With a family country house as the backdrop we used many different areas of the grounds for the different elements of the wedding.
They were very style-focused as a couple and the design and decor was an extremely important element for them. Emma Soulsby created beautiful foliage and pastel flowers hung from the roof of the marquee and lined the tables and the copious amounts of fairy lights created a beautiful reflection and looked like guests were dancing under the stars. With a modern, marquee approach we used wooden flooring and stylish lounge furniture from Classic Crockery to create different areas for guests to enjoy. Large trees filled the corners of the marquee and lined the entrance so it really was bringing the outside in.
The bride Sara was covered in lace in the most sophisticated way in her custom Vera Wang dress. Make up by Amrita styled Sara to perfection and Cheshire Wedding Hair delicately placed a vintage tiara that reminded me of the true elegance of a Royal wedding.
The reception was held at a private country house with big open spaces to be creative! The planners styled a beautiful glass marquee fit for 300 guests on a summers day. The stage and dance floor were in the centre of the marquee where the couple made their grand entrance in their second classic outfits. Above the tables were beautiful pieces of hanging foliage and florals that made the whole space feel romantic. Later in the evening the groom, Will surprised everyone by interrupting the girls dance routine by showing everyone he can shake it on the dance floor to Craig Owen Music! The night ended with the couple sharing a moment watching the fireworks at midnight. Definitely a wedding to remember.
