Thanks to Enamored & Motion, Charles & Marie exchanged their April vows in the most unique and extraordinary village (Village and Castle of Grignan), located in proximity to the stunning Chateau de Grignan, XIIIth century castle with its sweeping views of Provence in an intimate, micro destination wedding. Fine Art photographer Pascal Vo and videographer Thant Chay Steinbacher were present to capture every genuine, intimate moment throughout the day. Inspired by the rich history of the venue (known as the home of very famous French literature reference, Madame de Sévigné), the bride and groom took inspiration from past aesthetics for everything from the decor to the stationary and brought a contrasting, modern touch to their magical day. We love this dress, we posted it on our Instagram awhile back, but it is still one of our favorite The Villa wedding dresses from Savin London!
The beautiful bride wore two contemporary, hand-painted gowns by luxury UK bridal designer Savin London. The off-the shoulder ivory and pastel floral gown called “Angelina” exuded elegance, romance, and genuinely regal vibes. For the civil ceremony, the bride wore a second dress named “Willa”, that brought a modern touch with its bustier structure and its bright lavender and magenta flowers. To accent the beautiful gowns, the bride wore embellished ivory “Josephine” pumps by world acclaimed US bridal designer Bella Belle Shoes. Planner, Enamored & Motion, always says that brides should incorporate colorful and patterned wedding dresses into their special day if they want to and should never shy away from wearing gowns that reflect who they are!
Makeup was kept fresh and romantic, so to accent bride Marie's features, local MUA Beauty SB created an inspired “rose garden” beauty aesthetic, playing with pink hues for the blush, eyes shadows, and lips. The bride’s accessories included a fine peach sapphire and diamond ring, custom-made by creator Alcee Joaillerie. The designer was inspired by a floral and vegetation theme to create a set that perfectly aligned with both ancient romanticism and the modern-day non-traditional bride. To complete the set, Alcee Joaillerie created pear-shaped pink diamond earrings and a 18k rose gold bracelet ornamented with a green tea sapphire.

For the stationery, the most exquisite paper goods were custom-made by Encres et Nuances, including a delicate work of calligraphy and black and white handmade gravures. Table decoration included subtle golden and antique details, such as a unique set of Limoges porcelain plates, a beautiful ivory “Fleurs de Lys” patterned tablecloth, and gorgeous sage green chairs. Flower decorations were curated by designer Emily Alarcon, who emphasized the splendor of the venue and maintained its romantic and enchanting aesthetic. The bright “viva magenta” and pastel blues blended seamlessly into the bucolic background of the castle garden and limestone walls, and every element served to create a cohesive and magical atmosphere that bride Marie was seeking.
Cake designer Lilie Cakes created a delicious pear and almond personalized, two-tier cake. To compliment the surrounding vegetation, the event designer used a green Toile de Jouy tablecloth and played with the contrast between light green paints on the cake and the colorful ornaments of magenta English roses and pomegranate fruits. This color combination was truly as timeless as the day itself!
