Years after meeting through mutual friends in college, Jazmine and Ricardo were married in a special, intimate elopement at Lake Como in Italy. The couple both shared that the day was an absolute dream and extra special because it was just the two of them (and of course their amazing photographer, Kristine Grinvalde!), so they were able to take in the moment and really express their love for each other. They wrote their vows the night before, and on the day of their wedding, they spent the day cruising by boat around Lake Como, stopping at Villa del Balbianello to take in its beauty, and saying "I do" at an intimate ceremony at the Grand Hotel Tremezzo hosted by Fabio of Como Lake Celebrant, followed by a private dinner. Vendors from Wedding Chicks helped provide the inspiration this bride needed

Jazmine and Ricardo always spoke about how they would love to get married with a backdrop of mountains and a beautiful body of water, but they had never explicitly thought about Lake Como. This specific venue, however, seemed meant to be, as Ricardo actually had a picture saved in his phone of what the now know was Lake Como! What kind of help did the couple have when planning their dream wedding day? Bride Jazmine shared that she "loves the inspiration tab on the Wedding Chicks website." She went on to say, "I definitely took a lot of inspiration from all of the vendor posts on there and on Wedding Chicks' Instagram page. It helped me when looking for dress styles and my whole look, too!"

Styling wedding day details that work for multiple venues

The couple stayed at the Grand Hotel Tremezzo, and on the day of their ceremony, they were met with bright blue skies and warm temperatures. With the bride in a stunning Elysee Bridal Design dress called Sibylla, makeup by the bride herself, and hair styling by Merita of Lake Como Bridal Beauty, they said "I do" at a ceremony in the garden area that overlooked the lake and the mountains. The bride chose white roses for her bouquet by Elena Atabaeva Flowers because she wanted to make sure they fit each and every detail of their day. Groom Ricardo donned a classic suit from Duane & Johnson with a white jacket and black bowtie.
