"La dolce vita", or "the good life", was exemplified by this fabulously stylish elopement in the heart of Rome. After falling in love with Italy during their travels the year before, Erin and Mike wanted to celebrate their "I do's" against the beauty of the city. They aimed to have a relaxed day, enjoying the beauty of the local historical landmarks but also to have fun - enjoying a cooking class in lieu of a traditional dinner. This wedding is seriously dream destination elopement goals!

Erin wore a sexy, billowing gown from Giovanna Alessandro (a couture designer located in Ukraine). The dress was just the right amount of romantic to complement the vibe of the elopement and the style of Rome. Her dainty, short veil from the same bridal boutique, was the perfect touch to accent her natural glam makeup by Arianna Saura. The bride was sure to mention that her Arianna made her feel the most beautiful she's ever felt!
The bride on finding "the one" dress:
"My dress is the Selena gown by Giovanna Alessandro. I purchased the dress from Fashion Dujour Bridal Boutique in Haddon Township, NJ with the help of the lovely shop owner, Olga. She had about a two week window to find and order my dress if she wanted it to come in time for our elopement in Italy! Within that two week window she went to four different bridal boutiques and it wasn't until the last boutique that I found my gown. Going into her search she didn't have her heart set on a specific style/fit, I just knew I wanted something timeless and more on the simple side that would compliment the beauty of Italy. My sister in law actually grabbed my dress off the rack at Fashion Dujour. I fell in-love with that dress as soon as I put it on. It felt timeless, romantic, and just the right amount of girly while still keeping true to myself with the simple details. My family with me that day said my face, glow, and body language changed completely when I put that dress on and they knew it was the one as well!”
The bride's bountiful bouquet by Sara Tusset Weddings was actually designed to match her wedding gown! Sara absolutely blew Erin away with the bouquet she created! She came up with the beautiful design based on her dress, accessories, and one request for white flowers and baby's breath.
Choosing whether or not to elope can be a big decision - but for Erin and Mike the decision was an easy one! The ethereal beauty of Rome served as the dreamiest backdrop for their intimate ceremony with just the two of them in attendance.
"Even before being engaged, Mike and I felt a traditional wedding was just not right for us. We traveled to Italy for a three week vacation during college when we were about 20 years-old and absolutely fell in love with it. The culture, architecture, history, and ambiance of every city we visited had us falling in love with the country more and more. During our trip we actually made a vow that whenever we get married, we were going to get married in Italy. So when the time came to make the decision between eloping or having a traditional wedding, it was pretty easy for Mike and I to decide eloping and we knew exactly where we were going to do it!We wanted our elopement day to be surrounded by our love for each other and allow us to have fun in a city we shared a love for! I think Mike and I successfully planned a day with Patrizia's (Blancorazon Wedding Photography) help that captured just that. From our first look at the top of our Airbnb to running through Rome together and ending the day with a fun pizza making class, Mike and I were so happy with our decision." -Bride, Erin

Instead of opting for a traditional dinner or reception, Erin and Mike chose a playful and interactive pizza making class. Erin changed from her gorgeous gown into a chic and stylish jumpsuit from Express. Their creations and looked absolutely scrumptious, with local beer to toast- saluti!
