Condor Nest Ranch was the perfect location for an intimate outdoor wedding. Any couple in love can get lost in this sprawling venue's loveliness. Plus the sunsets are amazing and on a clear day (like ours was) you can catch a glimmer of the Pacific Ocean on the horizon. An overall theme of romance ebbed and flowed as guest's were invited to take their seats for the ceremony overlooking a stunning mountain view with parasols shading them every step of the way.
The groom hand made each of the moss-covered Birch aisle markers that lined the ceremony path leading up to the arbor, which was draped with white linens, delicate greenery, and clusters of flowers cascading down one side. A small gold chandelier completed the elegant look. The sweetheart-shaped wedding programs, handmade by the couple and customized to match their wedding invitations, provided guests ceremony details and doubled as fans to cool them on this late summer afternoon.
The stamped mulberry bark escort cards featured guest names beautifully hand written by the MOH and tucked into mini wooden escort card holders that were hand-cut by the groom. The vintage crates, a family heirloom (owned by the groom's grandfather) were used to add depth and warmth as guests took their seats for the reception under the large oak tree on the upper lawn.
All of the gorgeous signage and amazing replica of our A + R heart monogram was courtesy of Taryn from Twinkle and Toast, which was a complete surprise! We also especially loved our 'Better Together' slate signs that adorned that back of our chairs and only wished our guests could have caught a peek at this lovely message.
The dessert table was softly lit up with dreamy lights and a faux lace panel served as a lovely backdrop. A trio of intricate cakes were beautifully presented atop a family heirloom vintage lace tablecloth, owned by the groom's grandmother, and delicate blooms of lisianthus, roses, and astilbe added to the romantic design. We loved the idea of a two tiered wedding cake accompanied by two smaller cakes, varied in size, rather than a traditional cake. Each one offered a different decadent flavor for guests to enjoy.
We love that our vision was captured perfectly and the day was better than we could have imagined. We have received countless compliments about all of the details and can't tell you how many guests have mentioned our wedding was genuinely one of the best they had ever attended. Plus, they were all crazy about the venue, its view and that sunset! The entire day had the exact vibe, look, and feel that we had hoped for - it was truly magical.
