Paula and Peter were married at at elegant mansion wedding at the Hempstead House at Sands Point Preserve in New York.
Charming Images was there to capture all the fun details, Wedding Dream Video to film, and the bride planned every detail. The bride wore one of our favorite Maggie Sottero gowns, the Allen. Be sure to take a peek at all the images in the full gallery.
We wanted the wedding to have a rustic yet elegant feel to it and i believe the venue alone gave us exactly what we were looking for. The flowers at the reception consisted of white hydrangeas mixed with baby breath.
Simple and yet very elegant. Bridesmaids bouquets were made simply of baby breath as their dresses were very rich and we didn’t want the two to overwhelm. The venue had a beautiful fountain in the middle which was also decorated in the same theme. We had a traditional polish wedding with a live band, tons of food and tons of liquor. I loved joining our guests during cocktail hour and seeing everyone on the dance floor.
Q: Let's talk fashion. How did you both choose your wedding day look? Describe the looks in detail.
A: I always wanted a princess gown but never thought it would be a dress with a sleeve. When I first tried it on I knew it was the one - royal, elegant and totally matched the venue. The top of the gown was covered in Swarovski crystals with an open back and 3/4 sleeves. Maggie Sottero - Allen Dress
The bottom of the gown was pure tulle. I would never change my dress for any other. For my shoes I picked a pair of Louboutin flats also covered in Swarovski crystals - gorgeous and super comfortable. My husband has a dark navy suit with a vest, a black bow tie and brown Louboutin shoes. Very simple yet very elegant.

A: We met about 10 years ago at a restaurant I used to work in. We stayed good friends for a while until we started dating. He proposed to me during our very best vacation in Cuba. He was it planned out to the last detail even having his best friend fly for over 12 hours to Cuba just to take the picture. It was the most magical moment ever.
