Hope's vision for her wedding day was filled with vintage elements, and soft romantic details, in a beautiful garden setting. The Club At The Strand was the perfect venue, filled with gorgeous greenery and elegant fountains.
Vintage glamour emanates from every corner of this gorgeous day with sweet personal touches tucked in between. This bold bride even acquired a vintage ride from an unlikely source, love it! See more of this elegant vintage romance wedding in the full gallery here, captured by Hunter Ryan Photo.
Hope's love of all things vintage was apparent from the minute I met her. I embraced that love and infused the day with vintage decor elements, like crystal chandeliers, a library card catalog, mix-matched tea-cups as place cards, vintage keys for her seating chart, an array of vintage china and two vintage lounge areas. Hope also incorporated a few family heirlooms and special details into her day to truly make it not just vintage pretty - but HERS.
Hope's mother found a small vintage dress holder from when Hope was very young - and she said she knew one day that her daughter would use it on her wedding day. So she bought it and has had it saved away for years. Hope used it as a handkerchief stand - arranging the hankies in a way that made it look like the skirt of a dress. It worked perfectly into her decor and was a super special memory for her and her mother.
In her shoe, she wore a penny from the year her parents were married (that her mother wore on her day) as well as a penny from 2014 for her own day. Hope and Andrew's faith is what brought them together -and so they had a bible which was so important to them as their guestbook. Guests could sign by their favorite verse - and as Hope & Andrew read it together for years to come - they'll stumble upon the well wishes as they discover them written on the pages throughout.
Lastly, Hope knew she wanted a vintage car to complete her day - but she hadn't found anything. One day while driving - she passed the amazing blue truck you see in these photos. It wasn't a rental, wasn't for sale - nothing. She just pulled over, explained to the owner how much she loved it and asked if she'd be able to somehow rent it for her wedding day - and he said yes!! I think the truck added the last perfect vintage element that tied the entire day together - and acted as the perfect getaway car for them!
