The bride stole the show in this next wedding with her eye-catching Fox gown by Rue De Seine, and that’s just the beginning of this fabulous fun-filled day at the lovely Cornerstone Sonoma in California.
Some of our favorite details included their beautiful ceremony which featured a traditional Persian Sofreh, and an elegant tent reception! From the bride: Prior to starting the planning process, I knew I wanted my wedding to be romantic/rustic/and elegant but more importantly, FUN! I really wanted to focus on the "fun" factor and make sure the party kept going from ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner and then ultimately dancing! A live band and fun cocktails were really important to us.
Our ceremony took place in front of a decorated spread (Persian Sofreh Aghd) which is the highlight of a Persian Wedding and included symbolic elements that represent the bride and groom's life and marriage together including: mirror, candles, water, bread/cheese/herbs, eggs, nuts, sugar cones, honey and noghl, etc. The Sofreh was created entirely from scratch and every detail was done by hand.
I was obsessed with my flowers - I spent a lot of time pouring over Pinterest and putting together an inspiration board and my florist far exceeded my expectations. They were romantic, wild, soft, and beyond beautiful. I went through some trouble finding a gown for my small frame and was SO happy with my ultimate decision to go with the Fox Gown by Rue De Seine. I wish I could where my dress everyday, all day - it has a very vintage, romantic feel and I'm just in love with it.
We had a beautiful two-tiered cake (6"-Knock Your Sox Off (Seasonal), 8"-Chocolate Fleur de Sel) from Sift Dessert Bar and surrounded it with all of our favorite mini desserts including mini chocolate chip cookies, mini ice cream sammies, banana cream pie shooters, lil' mixed berry pies, mini cupcakes ("all for the cookie" and "oh la la").
