When photographing any wedding, I aspire to learn as much as I can about the couples so I can best tell the story. Here, within the getting ready photographs, I incorporated some of the bride's grandmother's inspirational art in the background who was an artist, and has passed on, but whose presence is still clear. Following the ceremony at St. Agnes in Greenwich, CT, we were off the Wainwright House in Rye, NY for the reception. Rows of trees are one of my favorite to photograph, seen here tenting the newlyweds. Sunset is one of the best times for a quick stroll to capture the ambiance of the day, as shown below. The very elegant and crisp bridal party attire with the vintage chic table settings made me feel as though not a detail was missed in planning this wedding.
