Courtney and Aaron's elegant backyard Hudson River wedding was at The bride’s cousin's weekend compound called Crescent Reach. Located in the lower Hudson Valley and has the most incredible views of the Hudson River. The lush and manicured grounds were a spectacular backdrop to this natural wedding day captured by Diana Elizabeth Photography. You can see the rest by visiting the full gallery here.
We love the idea of greeting guests with a tasty low cal cocktail, great for those warm summer wedding days.

From The Bride: I definitely would not have spent so much time worrying about the weather. Be prepared, but don't stress about it. The tents went up, it stormed during dinner - but everything ended up being so wonderful and half our guests ended up in the pool that night so got wet anyway!
Delegate as much as you can - people want to help and it will relieve a lot of stress. Be sure to sneak away with your new husband at least once after the ceremony - to catch up on your separate mornings, revel in the fact that you just got married and eat the delicious food you picked out! And I'd highly recommend a videographer if it's within your budget as it's true the day flies by, and it's hard to remember all the details not captured in photos.
Dinner was served on the South lawn near the pool. It was served family style on small platters and bowls on long wide tables under a beautiful tent with a clear center ceiling. The tables had crisp white linens and handmade burlap runners. The flowers were a mix of fresh lavender and arrangements in all shades of white and cream, which included garden roses, dusty miller, and eucalyptus.
