Bruce and Allison chose to keep their colors simple at their elegant Palm Springs wedding. Pops of gold paired with soft hues of ivory add the perfect sense of elegance to their formal affair, and all of their chic decor has us totally over-the-moon excited to share every last detail with you.

We wanted the wedding vibe to be relaxed and all about family. Since our two families have been friends for years, pretty much everyone on the guest list knew each other. We wanted to choose a place where everyone could come, have fun, relax, and spend quality time together.
At the ceremony site we had a custom “Uncle Bruce, Here Comes Your Bride” sign made, that was carried by two of our nephews. We also had custom “Almost Mr. & Mrs. Olson” flag straws made for the guest’s lemonade, along with custom fans to help keep our guests cool.
Since our venue was so vibrant, I wanted our décor to be subtle yet chic. We worked around a white and gold theme, from the flowers to the final touches. With the help of Artisan Event Floral Decor, our flowers were white phalaenopsis orchids, white hydrangea, white garden roses, and blush tea roses. We accented the space with gold sequined table cloths and gold and white throw pillows in the hammocks and on the couches.
My best advice to a bride that’s planning is to stick together during the reception. It may seem obvious, but it’s so easy to each get pulled in different directions. Everyone wants a piece of your time, and there are so many faces you haven’t seen in a while. Bruce and I decided not to separate during the night, and I’m so glad we did. Whether we were thanking guests, or on the dance floor, we did it together.
